Turning 31

Just a brief post – probably more suitable for Jaiku than for the blog, but here goes:

Today is my 31st B-day. Looking back, it’s been a pretty amazing year. Most importantly, I’ve started a new and exciting job andÂ I found out earlier this year that by december, I’m going to be somebody’s dad. Pretty freakin amazing.

But now, back to my morning coffee with my girlfriend. Pictures from throughout the day on Flickr. Peace out.

Today is my dad’s 58th birthday, and I arrived in Ã…rhus yesterday to surprise him and spend a little time with him until I return to Copenhagen tonight. So: have a nice day pops. I’ll see you tonight after work for a brithday dinner before my bus leaves for Copenhagen.

Yesterday was my 30th… And it was GRRREAT – already feeling a tad more distinguished! BTW – need a good place to eat in Copenhagen? I recommend Hotel Fox Kitchen & Bar – innovative food, good service and kick-ass cocktails!

Back to the future

A colleague told me about FutureMe, a service that lets you send an email up to 30 years into the future (he also noted that he would much prefer being able to send an email to himself in the past, but this, the, is the next best thing).

Personally, I had no idea what to tell myself in 30 years. Hopefully, by then, I’m a lot smarter than I am now, so I limited myself to sending me an email on my 31st birthday, little over a year from now. By then, I should’ve stopped whining about growing old.
