It takes 2.0 to tango!

The month of Movember is just around the corner, and in a matter of days I will begin a one month long journey towards moustache nirvana. All in the name of bettering men’s health and raising awareness for prostate cancer. Now why am I telling you this? Well, cause I need you’re help, basically.

1) I need help settling on a style – so do me a favour and check out the American Mustache Institute and throw me a hint as to which stache you think would suit me the best. I’m leaning towards the chevron, which in my particular case would leave me with a reddish Tom Sellecky snot brake in a matter of a month, but I am open to suggestions. Alas, I don’t have time for shananagans like the Walrus or the Fu Manchu

2) Apart from being good fun, the Movember movement has a serious purpose. Raising dough and awareness to fight prostate cancer. So check out my Mo Space page and please support. Otherwise I’ll end up looking ridiculous for nothing.

And remember. I’m too old to pull off the ironic hipster excuse. I will end up looking like I mean it.

But isn’t it stupid to grow a moustache for charity? Yeah, probably. In the same way that running a race, doing a walk-a-thon, setting up a random event or other awareness-generating things may be.

The other day I had quite a scare.

Suddenly, it seemed the battery on my beloved iPad had given up on me, and since I didn’t get insurance for the thing, I started to panic. I tweeted in desperation, and @ockley came to my assistance. he pointed me towards a few forum discussions and I fixed the problem by simply

1. closing down all apps (I had a LOT of them running)
2. deleting inactive email accounts in mail
3. turning the iPad off
4. charging

Today I turn 35. Man, I’m an old fart.

Got the app. Can’t wait to get the bricks.

This project is nothing short of awesome, and I’m well proud to say that my workplace was heavily involved in it.

I went to this seminar with a bunch of my good colleagues this weekend http://welovegraphicdesign.dk/.

The seminar was neatly organized, well balanced and an all round good experience. Kudos to the organizers.
One session stood out, and left me truly inspired. Stefan Sagmeister did a talk on happiness, that blew my mind.
