1: My husband votes no, so I vote no
2: I don’t really know the ins and outs of it, but apparently it’s good for the country, so I vote yes
Luckily, they kinda balance each other out. The quotes reminded me of this old story from the onion.

its funny/frustrating to listen to interviews with people on irish radio – a few times i heard people say things like “ive no idea what its about, they (the government) havent explained it to us – im going to vote no”.
as an irish person living outside of ireland – i dont have a vote but will be listening to the news all tomorrow for the counting of votes. interesting times
It reminds me of my late grandmother, who voted for Poul Schlüter (former Danish prime minister) on account of him ‘looking like such a nice man’.
@David: but he DOES look nice, doesn’t he?
@ Darren: I guess times just got even MORE interesting, huh?
