Yeah, I know there are people out there that have been blogging since the dawn of man, and in that context three years of blogging doesn’t seem like much, but… on June 9 2004 I wrote my very first blog-post on ‘writing for the web’. It was in Danish, and on an entirely different platform (smartlog.dk).
Since then, I’ve gone through tons of different stages of blogging. I started blogging in English when my American friends complained they couldn’t understand my posts, I took a break from it for almost a year when I did PR for a company that didn’t have a blog policy, I almost only posted pictures for a while, and lately I do most of my short post on Jaiku instead of here. None the less, I couldn’t do without my blog. It’s as much a part of me as anything else.
So, leaving all modesty behind, happy birthday to me!
