Scrapblog

Scrapblog is a nifty little online presentation tool, with a 2.o-twist.

In short, Scrapblog lets you import photos from a number of different services – I use Flickr but you can also import from Photobucket, Yahoo photos and Webshots.

Once your selected photos are imported, you can create presentations from a handful of set templates (one of which is blank), adding your pics, music, text and transitions (much like a scaled down version of Poweroint or Key Note).

Once you’re happy with your work you can save it, export it to different formats (i.e. pictures in a dedicated photoset on Flickr) and you can publish your scrapblogs for your friends and/or the world to see.

I won’t be switching from doing presentations in Key Note anytime soon, but Scrapblog has definitely found a sweet spot somewhere in between traditional photo-sharing sites and desktop presentation tools.

I like it a lot, and I’m sure it wil be taking up a hell of a lot of my time in the future.
