So I’ll refer to Douglas Karr’s 10 tips to optimizing your blog – it’s a list of down-to-earth, practical ways to improve on your blog, inspired by a similar list at Computershopper.
Douglas covers the area quite well in the post. However, I miss some details in his point about writing well. In my view, writing well is not only a question of being passionate and/or eloquent. It’s just as much a question of inviting readers to join in the conversation (it’s good to have a ton of readers, but it’s really nice if your readers have a voice – comments almost always make me smile), asking questions, showing a willingness to listen and learn.
But what do you think? what constitutes good writing on weblogs?
