I’m a signer-upper (YES, it’s a word).
I tend to get so excited, when I see opportunities for trying out new pieces of software, joining new networks and having a look at who’s there and so on and so forth. And I do believe that networking and social software wil grow stronger and stronger in the years to come. But sometimes I wonder how many networks I really NEED to join?
Asides from having joined a couple of groups at flickr, betatesting imity, and a bunch of other stuff, I’m also on LinkedIn, and I’m pretty sure it’s the place where I can get in touch with the most people, should I need to.
But recently, kommunikationsforum (a Dansih website about communication) launched a network, and I couldn’t help but join. Maybe I’m hoping that this network will cater to my specific interests (communication and what not) and my network at LinkedIn will be bigger and more diverse? But maybe networks are like newsletters – You sign up to a bunch of them but end up using only a few?
