When copy-catting becomes ridiculous

I couple of days ago, I wrote about Danish men’s magazine ‘Euroman’ copying NYmags approval matrix. My starting point was that this was A-OK, seeing as it was reasonably executed, and you don’t always have to be original to be entertaining.

HOWEVER – I was stunned when I opened the november edition of said magazine… in their november-matrix, they put another Danish magazine, ‘Børsens Nyhedsmagasin’s rendition of a similar matrix waaay up under ‘highbrow’ and ‘ridiculous’ acompagnied by the text ‘copycat-wannabe’.

I cant wait til they put it online, so I can document with pic’s – cause something kinda reeks here, right?
