The Observer | UK News | 2050 – and immortality is within our grasp
As it is, I can hardly remember a date or a phone number without my laptop or my phone – it’s been that way for a while – probably because I don’t have to go around remembering stuff, once its stored one of my beloved devices. Now British futurologists predict that by the time I’m 74 I’ll be able to download my entire memory onto a harddrive & I wont ever have to make an effort to memorize stuff ever again – I dig this idea (and at 74 I’ll probably dig it even more!)
