Authentic Behavior in User Testing (Jakob Nielsen’s Alertbox)

User testing works – the verdict is in. Thanks to good old suspension of disbelief users can actually disregard the artificial setting of a user test and perform well (or rather naturally) enough for the test results to be usable. For someone who is about to begin a great many tests of a fairly large site – that’s good to know!
